The formula to win at Monopoly is 4 green houses and then a red hotel. There are some other smart plays such as owning the utility companies and railroads but that is a little more challenging in real life. My client, Tuyet, just bought her third home and is well on her way to building a nice retirement portfolio for herself. I was able to help her secure the home for $20,000 less than the original asking price which is unheard of in the current real estate climate.
