A Home For Phoenix

Cole and Dayna came to me a year or more ago while living in Phoenix and let me know that they planned to relocate their business and family to Portland. We stayed in touch throughout that time and they decided to make the move up and rent for a while. In the process they had a beautiful new son, appropriately named, Phoenix. He is the cutest, happiest little guy you have ever seen I might add.

Cole is a creative type that loves to work with her hands on various projects. She was wanting a place with the potential for a shop and room to store some of her ongoing wood projects and found treasures. Dayna is a very supportive wife and wanted Cole to have such a space to work and all of the other comforts of home for the two of them and the little guy to have room to roam.

We looked at a handful of houses and eventually settled on well appointed home in NE Portland with a great space for a playroom, an over sized garage and a great over sized yard to build a shop.

The inspection period revealed a leaking sewer line, an underground oil tank that was leaking and an antiquated furnace. I was able to negotiate on their behalf and get the sewer line repaired, the oil tank decommissioned, a gas line run and a brand new, high efficiency gas furnace.

Dayna and Cole have begun the process of customizing the home to their tastes to include bamboo floors, new kitchen cabinets and appliances and new counter tops.

As with many of our clients, they have become friends.
