I met Jessica on the phone when she and her adorable family were still living in Southern California. We talked about her husband Scott’s possible job transfer, the Portland-metro market, and affordability (or lack thereof) in SoCal. It was barely into the next day that I got a phone call from a very happy Jessica telling me that the transfer went through – they are moving to Oregon!
We toured some homes during a preliminary trip up to Portland. They were natural Oregonians – asking about proximity to rivers and the outdoors, complimenting the air quality, and gushing with excitement about the adventure in front of them.
Our search gradually started expanding to more rural areas outside of Portland and when they took a weekend drive to St. Helens, they knew it was a perfect fit. The first home we toured in St. Helens was the one we wrote an offer on just an hour later. An adorable bug of a home in a wonderful community. It was just perfect!
Now that Jessica and Scott have been living in a temporary apartment for a couple months, they couldn’t be more thrilled to become homeowners in their new favorite state, their new Oregon home.
We are so happy to have been a part of the process of finding you guys your new home. The kiddos will LOVE growing up there!
