Making the decision to downsize your home isn’t always easy. Especially when you’ve filled your 3,000 sq ft home with thirty years of memories. Taking into account all his criteria, and with the clock ticking, I pulled up a new listing and instantly knew I had found the perfect new home for Gordon. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big garage for all his tools, a yard for him to plant his fruit trees, and everything had been remodeled from the crawlspace to the roof. Talk about move-in ready, this house was everything Gordon needed in one affordable package.
Taking advantage of the slow winter season, we managed to snap up Gordon’s dream home for $15,000 under asking price AND get the driveway repaired. Our generous seller even allowed Gordon a week of early occupancy, to ease the stress of having to move out of his previous home before our closing date.
Gordon’s journey took a little longer than some of our other clients, and had its fair share of ups and downs. But when you have a great client and a dedicated Real Estate team all working toward the same goal, anything can be overcome. Now that everything is said and done, Gordon can finally settle comfortably in his perfect place.
