When Karen and Jared started planning to buy a home, they made a bold decision – they moved in with Jared’s parents and began to save money. Compacting their two bedroom apartment into one room in someone else’s house was a challenge, and didn’t get any easier over the following two years. By the time they came to me with their pre-approval in hand, they were excited and eager to find their new place.
We had our first meeting on a Monday evening, and by Thursday we were writing an offer on a three bedroom fixer in Powellhurst-Gilbert. After beating out the competition, while still staying below list price, Karen and Jared were officially under contract just one week after our initial consultation!
These two natural born homeowners couldn’t wait to get their hands on their new project. The day that I handed them the keys, trucks pulled up with friends and family who couldn’t wait to wield a hammer. Soon I was getting texts with demoed bathrooms and proudly repaired plumbing. That poor neglected house couldn’t have been happier!
