I moved to Portland in September of 2012. The very first night I was here, there was a friend of mine from Athens, Ga in town. She invited me over to a house party at a home in Montavilla. My very first Bar-B-Q in Portland was at this home as well as learning how to say Willamette and Couch (Rhymes with Dammit and Pooch.) A group of friends was made that night that I still spend a good bit of time with. Most importantly, I met my now fiance Lindsay, there.
Fast forward 4 years. Melissa, the owner, asked me to be her Realtor to help sell this home and navigate the crazy Portland Real Estate market. In our discussions of her next steps, we arrived at the conclusion that I should buy her home!
Lindsay and I will be married in late October and will call this special little house of many of my Portland “firsts,” home.
I love helping people find their place. It feels good to set some roots and have my own Place to call home.
