With a little help from Tech

Canterbury LaneHome searching is hard enough when buyers are in town and ready to hit the ground running, but it’s a whole other story to try to find a new place when buyers are out of state.

Such is the case with my amazing clients Josh, Tali, and three-month old baby Paisley. We started conversing over the phone about locations and wants/needs in early December, as the family was about to sell their Los Angeles condo to make the move up to Portland. With the successful close of their condo in late February, the search in the Portland-metro area went from zero to sixty nearly over night.

Let’s just say – thank goodness for technology!! I toured a few properties on their behalf with my iPad, taking videos and photos so they would have a sense of the properties. The crew, minus baby, came up over one weekend so I could drive them around. After that weekend, I knew exactly what they wanted and where.

A week after they left, the perfect property came on the market. I did another video tour and they decided it was the right place for them! After some negotiating to get them a fantastic deal, we were pending on a great condo-townhome in Tigard.

They were such an amazing family to work with, and I’m so grateful we were all able to make it happen with the help of a little bit of persistence and a lot of tech help! Congratulations, Josh, Tali, and Paisley!  Welcome to Oregon!
